Flowering cacti and yuccas

Lace cactus
(Echinocereus reichenbachii)
Claret-cup
(Echinocereus triglochidiatus)
(We have not seen claret cup within our park, but it is an area cactus. Maybe you will be the first to find one within our boundaries)

Thread leaf yucca (Yucca constricta)

Spanish Dagger (Yucca).
The Spanish Dagger (USDA Plant database) and Texas A&M database),
like all yuccas, depends on the yucca moth as its sole means of fertilization.
In turn, the yucca moth, Pronuba, depends on the yucca
as the only place where its larvae can mature.
